Brian Miller

Brian Miller became interested in playing Irish music as a high-schooler up in Bemidji, Minnesota. An accomplished self-taught guitar accompanist and singer, Brian has performed extensively throughout the region with The Gaels, 5 Mile Chase and Laura and the Lads as well as acting as an on-call guitar player for a number of top Irish musicians who have passed through the Twin Cities.

Brian began playing the flute while studying Irish music in Cork, Ireland in 2000, where his first teachers were Padraig Kelleher and Conal O’Grada.

Brian has also amassed a great number of traditional and contemporary Irish songs over the years. On occasion, you can hear Brian sing with The Doon Céilí Band.
